Prototype and low-volume molding provide molded parts before a full production commitment is justified. Depending on geometry, resin, quantity, and expected design change, the route may use a simplified steel tool, aluminum tool, bridge tool, or a production-intent insert strategy. The objective is to learn from representative molded parts while preserving a controlled path to the final production mold.
